Our Story
Africa is not waiting for permission to lead the AI revolution. Every day, across this continent, young people are imagining solutions, building businesses, and refusing to be left behind. What they need is not motivation. It is structure. It is curriculum. It is access to the skills, certifications, and live infrastructure that turn ambition into capability.
DC Labs exists to provide that structure. We train young Africans in the disciplines that power the AI economy: from AI literacy and applied machine learning, to GPU and compute fundamentals, to the design and operation of the data centres that AI runs on. Our learners do not just consume AI. They build it, operate it, and govern it.
Our Vision
An Africa where young people, particularly young women, are the engineers, AI builders, and compute pioneers who design, build, and operate the continent's digital infrastructure, with the credentials and confidence to lead at home and abroad.
Our Mission
To turn Africa's AI ambition into trained, certified, work-ready talent at scale. We do this by integrating curriculum, faculty, live-site learning, and partner ecosystems into structured pathways that move young Africans from foundation skills to dignified and fulfilling careers across the AI and digital infrastructure value chain.
What makes DC Labs different
- Faculty drawn from practice. Our facilitators are working engineers, AI builders, and infrastructure operators, not career trainers.
- Live-site learning. Learners rotate through operating data centre and AI environments, not simulated ones.
- Pathways, not one-offs. Stackable certificates building toward role-based credentials and tertiary qualifications.
- AISCA-aligned. Our curriculum, credentials, and pathways are designed to plug directly into the AISCA ecosystem.
